Buttercup, Primrose, Cruciferous Plants



The buttercup (ranunculaceae) species include many herbs. The flowers are often yellow.

The cruciferous plants species (Capparaceae) have earned their name because of the grape-shaped flowers with 4 cross-shaped sepals and petals. The fruit is often a silique.

Hardies featuring rosette-like ground petals, a leafless stalk and umbel-like flowers are typical of primrose species. The sepals and petals are partly grown together.
